I am trying to render a gridview control as html so that I can embed the html in various places such as token replacement etc. It works ok except for one thing. The links in the control are rendered incorrectly. Normally dnn renders the command links as __dopostback(dnnctlname,rowidentifier)

The problem when I use gridview.rendercontrol is that the command link becomes __dopostback(ctlid, rowidentifier) i.e. it drops the dnn control name. Anyway around this anybody know?

Also if I wanted to embed that HTML in an email for instance...how would the postback be rendered to act as a href? Any ideas?

Rgds
