Hi,

I have a module containing 6 'view' controls.

I need to add only one of those controls to a page.

What I do now, is add the module to the page (this adds all 6 controls) and delete the ones I don't need. But this gets really annoying when adding more new view controls to the module.

Is their a faster way to achieve this?

There isn't a way to do this unless you want to setup a totally seperate module  for your single view control and put that newly created module on the page. You can do that fairly easily through the module definition page.

The problem with seperating the controls in different modules, is that we have to ship the module as different zip packages. and that the list of modules quickly becomes very large and hard to maintain.

The controls are somewhat related, so it would me more logical to package them in the same module.

I think we will patch DNN to provide this functionality from the admin panel. Are you interested in this patch ? or, is it even possible to submit patches for DNN ?

an option would be to create a "wrapper module", which dynamically loads the module controls to display inside.
