The two versions are functionally equivelent, however the PE version is a different package so that we can include a custom skin and licensing module as well as set a global constant indicating it is a PE build.  All modules that run on PE will run on CE and vice versa

Modules build agains DNN CE 5.0.0 will not run on PE version. OK!

Jan,

if there is any difference, I would expect it rather the other way round, because the PE will usually not be built prior to CE.

I don't no how he can say it any clearer.

It would not be in their benefit to do it any other way.

Sebastian, sorry dont understand you.

Modules build agains DNN CE 5.0.0 will not run on PE version.

If I use code in 5.00 in a module it will not work in PE version. PE version is 4.9.2 I asume.
