how do i install an upgrade for dnn once its been downloaded.

 

also i need help with the chat module. i just installed it but only admin and superuser can actually use it...

if you are upgrading from dnn version 4.6.2 or newer, just unzip the upgrade package in the application root and browse to your site.

of course, it is smart to make a backup of the filesystem and the database first....
