Ok, this is one for the geeks out there! :)

I have a server (2003) currently being used as a intranet server running DNN 4.9. The server is connected to VLAN 2 with it's over server, trusted for staff to access and VLAN 3 with it's own server, limited for students to access.

I want to make better use of DNN and setup windows login for the site. I would like to use the AD settings so certain users have editting capablilites and others only have read access to parts of the site hidden from the students.

The staff network has a trusted link to the student network to allow for staff to rummage thoughout the student network.

I've attempted to get the module working with no success.

Any ideas?

I'm considering using DNN 5 so I could start from scratch.

Thanks All.

I think you are going to need to provide what you tried and what happened when you tried it.  It isn't clear to me where the problem is.
