Hi Forum,

I would like to design a new skin without solpart menu or dnnnavigationprovider or anything but like to design a pure xhtml/css(like xhtml templates) based navigation menu with ul / li / jquery .(ie)the menu will be part of the skin and it wont be a menu object or dnnnavigation object(ascx). My question is whether it will affect any formal implementation of dotnetnuke skinning method,ie.,will that affect "admin" and "host" options in the navigation menu or will that affect "breadcrumb" or will that cause any other issue?

Regards

Riaz

no problem, the only thing is that showing the admin and host menu items is optional for some menu skin objects.

It's an option of most menu component to show admin pages or not, for instance HouseMenu has an option like "ShowAdmin", if set to false it does not render admin pages..

"Getting rid of DNN menu" -is a bad idea.

What a options thats are all come with dnnNav menu v2? Wow ! tremendous!

I honestly conclude( after designed and developed my menu fully) using DNN Navigation is the 100% best choice .

Dnn Navigation just rocks.
