I have a syndicated content module that my various portal sites use.  The content is administered from the host site.  Each portal site has submenu links (from main menu bar) that point to various sections of the content module.  I found a way to make thes links dynamic (for each portal I add) by using the URL link, ~default.aspx?tabname=syndicatedcontent&pageid=111

The submenu links work fine EXCEPT:

When a user loads the site and tries to click on one of the submenu links (from the main menu bar) FIRST.  An error comes up saying the link is no good, changed. or can't be found ~default.aspx.  If the user clicks on anything else on the site FIRST, then the submenu links work perfectly.  It is almost as if some type of content must be loaded or a session id established before these submenu links work.

Totally confused.  Help.

sounds like an issue with JavaScript loading. Which browser do you use?

I've tested this with IE7, Firefox, and chrome.  All the same symptom.  thanks for responding so fast.
