I'm running DNN 5.0

I attempted to install the blog module 3.5.1 and recieved a web.config error but no details on what the error might be. The module appears in the host->Modules page as installed but it does not show up in the drop down box for adding a module to a page. I don't see an error in the event viewer so I have no further details. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Anthony,

it is not easy to give you help since there's no info about the issue, but:

  1. Check if the issue is related to the Blog module or to DNN itself;
  2. Enable custom errors in the web.config file.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

My issue is now resolved.

Evidently, something was corrupt the first time. I deleted the module from the host, re-downloaded the module, re-installed it, and all went well.

Thanks.
