Hi Brandon,

Thanks for he detailed explanation. Problems:

1) How do I  Post the SQL associated with your AddTabs SP?
2) Should I use some sort of file browser to check the the version of my framework

When i moved hosted we had to change the DB from a 2005 to a 2008. This has seemd to work but could have something to do with the page management error. Are there any changes for he new DB structure? Also would it help to rewrit all the files except the config file? I'm from a *nix backround and replacing the files is what i would do. I assume this is a slightly more deleicate enviroment. :p

Hi Bendon,

"It is sounding more and more like there is a mismatch between your framework and database schema.  Do you have any idea how this might have occurred?  Did your new host install the non-db framework on your behalf?"

Yes i think he may have, this problem is really getting frustrating. Would help if i gave you my login details?

Paul

Hi Paul,

Apologies for the lack of response, things will continue to be busy for me this week.

To check the database schema version, execute the following SQL and let me know the highest version reported: "SELECT * FROM Version"

The check your assembly version, get the bin/DotNetNuke.dll onto a windows machine, right click, select "Properties", select the "Details" tab, and report the file version.

I suspect a mismatch, and a mismatch can be a dangerous place to recover from.  There should be no issue with using MSSQL 2008 (many, including myself, have done the 2005 -> 2008 dance).

You can contact me at bhaynes [at] fas.harvard dot edu if you'd like some more hands-on assistance (though my schedule will not allow too much of this).

Brandon

wwwroot/Bin/DotNetNuke.dll says:

File version: 4.8.3.4

No I'm really confused. From what I understand the versions match right? (AssemblyVersion: 04.08.03)
