Hi, I got this strange problem. This is a normal working dnn site, running fine in godaddy hosting. I bought my server so I move the site into my server. I copy the files and restore the godaddy backup into my server. now the problem comes, the site often redirect itself to install page. after a while, i found out the pattern. if the site is not accessed for a while, it will redirect to the install page when accessed. but 2nd access after that is fine. and if i modify web.config file, the same thing also happen. 2nd and onwards visit to the site are always ok. I am trying to locate the redirect logic. unsuccessful. Can someone help?

Do you have any custom or 3rd party modules or providers installed that might be causing the redirect issue?

In the web.config you can set these values to control how the app behaves if it detects that the DotNetNuke.dll is not in sync with the Database version:

 <add key="AutoUpgrade" value="false" />
    <add key="UseInstallWizard" value="false" />
