If you are on DNN 4.6.2 or later, upgrade is quite easy:
  • backup your site (files and database)
  • unzip the upgrade package into your DNN installation package (make sure to maintain file hierarchy, overwriting all existing files)
  • browse to your site and upgrade will start automatically
(if you set autoupgrade to false in your web.config file, you need to browse to /install/install.aspx?mode=upgrade)
  • if there are no errors shown, you are done - congratulations!

yes it should - like on the home page of www.dotnetnuke.com.

you might need to switch timer mode to "request mode" in host settings, however.
