Hi Guys,

Got a real big problem here I am hoping someone can help with. I am running DNN 4.09.02.

I have a few roles configured, but this issue only appears to effect one role. Ironically it's the one damn role I need to work :D

The role is added to a user once they have paid for a years membership. I am using Ventrian Subscription Tools to handle that, it adds the user to the role for one year. That's all it does, it has no mechanism for removing users.. that has to be done manually.

I have checked the Event Log and the Site Log and there is nothing in there indicating anything to do with roles. I even checked to see if there were any exceptions or anything for those users... nothing. I am the only administrator for the site, so I know no one else did it.

So, something on my site is removing this role from users. What users are effected seems to be totally random. I have users that have only been members for a few days being removed, and also some that have been members for over 6 months. Other roles for the users do not get removed, it is only this one particular role. I have checked the dates, times that the effected users logged on.. nothing unusual happens. I was not on the site and the user only visited one or two places, neither of which had anything to do with role assignment.

So, what the hell is going on? I really have no idea on where to go from here. The site is a website for a Charity.. we can't afford this to happen!!!

I've finally found the issue. My registration module was the cause. I finally tracked it down that it was happening to people that were updating their profiles. This eventually lead my to my registration module.
