Hi!

I have a problem with login. We are working on site that is not yet public so I disabled anonymous authentication. But, now when I enable it and when I try to log in I can't. After typing UN and PWD and clicking on Login it takes me to the home page without loging in. If I type wrong credentials, then I have a warning "Login failed...".

This happens on 2 sites. One which is on DNN 4.6 and other on DNN 4.9. With both I disabled anonymous auth and when I eneble it again  it happens. Can it be that it is some issue with IIS on Windows server 2008?

Thanks, Ivan

You "disabled anonymous authentication?" What exactly did you do?

Your problem is most likely that the Login page has been set to Home under Page Settings > Advanced Settings > Page Management. The only way to correct that is directly in the database.

When I say that I disabled anonymous authentication, I mean that I disabled it in IIS on Windows Server 2008. But, when it is disabled, login to DNN site works fine. The problem is only when I enable that anonymous users can view the site.

Login page is set to configured Login page under Page Manegement. That is not a problem. I can open login page normal.

So, when I type correct Username and Password the site takes me to Home page which it should, but I am not logged in on a portal.
