The DotNetNuke code product does not support any specific database.  It uses a DataProvider to provide persistant storage. All versions of DotNetNuke since 3.X ONLY include a SQL Server DataProvider.   There was a 3rd party MySql DataProvider some time ago, but I do not believe it is still available. I also believe there is a commercial Oracle DataProvider, if I'm not mistaken.

So, the DotNetNuke portal product runs, out of the box, on SQL Server.  If you wanted to write a Custom Module, and have that particular module persist it's own data to a MySql database, you could certainly do that.

I have a MySQL database with tables wich contains informations like: ID, firstname, last name and so on.
i want a module or a solution to interrogate the MySQL database to display informations thru my dotnetnuke site.
Or how can i make connection between MsSql database and MySQL database, or to import tables from MySQL database in MsSQL database.
need help.
Thx in advance.

There is a module called Enterprise forms which has a capability to connect to a MySQL database through form field or datagrid.
