I just Installed 5.00.01 over 4.9.2 and the install appeared to go OK. When I accesse the portal and try to login, the login page does not contain a login module.

I CAN'T LOG IN...

You probably forgot to update the machinekeys in web.config. Searching google for site:dotnetnuke.com "can't log in"  should help.

if the login control is missing, add "?ctl=login" to the URL to get the login page displayed.

Next check out the skin, whether the login control is still present, you might need to reparse the skin in Host :: Extensions.

I tried the ?ctl=login and it still did not work.  How do I go about parsing the skin without signing into dnn?  Do we need to copy over directory?
