I suppose you are using the default friendly URL provider, with the HumanFriendly option.

I would recommend you to install a 3rd party friendly url provider, more specifically the iFinity Friendly Url Provider. It is free and will render more SEO friendly urls and should work with your code: iFinity Friendly Url Provider

For even better control, consider purchasing the Url Master product for the same company.

Great idea on the iFinity Friendly Url Provider.  This is my first DNN site so I was not aware of this free  product.  I have implemented this provider but the problem still remains.

Same code above.

I get : http://domain.com/tabid/66/Default.aspx

Instead of: http://domain.com/Golf_Courses/Far_Oaks_Golf_Club/

I upgraded my portal to 5.0.1 and ran the same code.  It gives me the correct friendly url with Globals.NavigateUrl.  Thanks for the help
