I have a site with a test instance that we are dry running a DNN framework upgrade on before doing it in production. The problem I'm having is that the login page works with Firefox but not with IE7. I haven't tried other versions of IE. I recently upgraded the framework, but this problem pre-exists the upgrade. The same behavior shows up on the production site. As far as I know, it worked at some point in the past, but I could be mistaken about that since I do most/all my work in FF. Going forward, I'll take that as lesson learned. I only heard about the problem within the last month or so.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Sebastian. Yes, I did try clearing out cookies and temp files. I get the same sort of behavior. It just sits there, unresponsive. Could there be something about the template that was built for this site that could be interfering with the login? I can't think of what that might be, but it's about the only thing that I can think of right now.

I assume, that there is some Javascript installed, interfering with site script. Please turn JS errors and debugging on to display the line and details of the error.

Again, thanks Sebastian. The problem appears to be related to the use of the Google Custom Search box on the skin. When I reset the skin to a version that didn't have it, the login worked. The site admin, put the box on and it broke the login. I haven't delved into it deeply, but I will set up a debugger to watch the JS execution to see if it gives me anything. Thanks.
