Hi, I have two specific problems with dotnetnuke:

1 - I linked some files on the site (did the standard procedure - uploaded the file from my server to the site, then placed a link on the homepage). The thing is, when I open the file (an Excel Worksheet) it doesn´t open Microsoft Excel! It opens a Web Browser and doesn´t allow any changes to the file. Can Anyone tell me what´s wrong? I only want to edit these files and recover the information when I want...

2 - As showed above I have some links in my homepage. Generally they link to Excel and Word flies. I would like to edit them, save them and then send them to an e-mail recipient. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Thanks a lot!

you cannot edit the files on the server without 3rd party components, e.g. DMX from www.Bring2Mind.net uses WebDAV to implement this scenario.
