Hi... I am building a site in 4.9 with an external css background image.... when i go to add text to a text/html module the background in the edit area is the same as my site background which makes it near impossible to type in and see text.... can anyone help?....thanks.

The background image is probably applied to the body tag in CSS.  You can constrain that background image to just your main site by using the Body ID that is in your DNN site but not in the frame that the FCK Editor uses.  That is, move the background CSS style to only apply to the selector body#Body.
