To access an Access database in ftp connection string given in the web config is in following format:

Similarly i want to access a blog website built by using dnn 5.01 online. Website files are moved to www folder of ftp. and mdf file is moved to private folder of ftp.  Current when i run my pages online, i am getting an error saying "custom error mode should be set as "off". After doing that i am getting an http 404 error saying "page does not exist or page is renamed. but actually that page exists in ftp and it is not renamed.

Now i just want to know the correct connection string format to access my website's database in ftp. This multiblog dnn website is running well in local in my pc. I want to move it to online.

Any suggestion or solution. pls reply asap.

Thanks,

Swaminathan.T

Why don't you use SQL Express at the very least? I doubt access is supported (I may stand corrected).

Thanks.
