Hello all, I have a one control mod that I have tried to add to page, when I do I get the avoce error.  I have added

Imports

DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase

As per a post on htis forum, but it did not change the error, and suggestions.

There is not code ATM it is just the UI, I want to see that it work's.

Hi Vexander,

To be usable by DotNetNuke, your ascx user control will generally need to inherit from PortalModuleBase.  This is effectuated with code that reads something like:

Imports DotNetNuke.Entities.Modules.PortalModuleBase
...

Public Partial Class MyUserControl
    Inherits PortalModuleBase

    ...
End Class

Without this inheritance, DotNetNuke cannot communicate with your custom module (there are advanced methods by which one may circumvent this, but you'll want to stick with the above for now).
