If I go the event viewer for my site, I see lots of the following:

Is it normal for dotnetnuke to restart several times a day? I know the server isn't being restarted as the uptime for it doesn't get reset. Server uptime currently shows as 55 days, but the log that i've posted shows dotnetnuke restarting several times yesterday.

It is very common if your website isn't getting traffic to it consistenly. IIS unloads asp.net sites after 20 minutes of inactivity, which is what you're seeing there.

Ah...ok.....that explains it. I wondered why it was doing it so often. I think the bot for the adsense module crawls my site every so often as i've got the adsense module installed on it.

I'll just have to remember to clear the event log every now and again so the server's drive doesn't get filled up.

Thanks
