I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or by design.

In DNN 4x, when logged into a site, you could edit the content of a module that isn't displaying due to its Start/End date settings.

In DNN 5.0.1, the module is only accessible in Layout view...but you can't edit a module's content in Layout view.

What this means is that if you have a module that is past its end date that you want to change the content of and THEN make it visible via start/end date, you now have to change (or clear) the Start/End date values that are causing the issue and change the module's visibility so that site visitors don't see the "old" module's content.

I guess then that admins need to see the module in edit view, and something needs to be displayed to admins to make it obvious that the module has expired.
We probably need an extra column in Host/Dashboard/Modules as well for this.

Please log it at support.dotnetnuke.com with your full steps to reproduce (just to make things clear)...

Thanks
