I dont get it,

from what i see only a page admin can post an event? I have created a permission called "event editor" and given them rights to view and edit module and events moderator and still the drop down is hidden. it is only when i login as the page admin that i see the dropdown that will allow me to add an event. i have created a site as an intranet that employees could use a shared calendar and was hoping that all the registered users (that i made event editors) could have access to add events. is this possible? if so how without them being page admins?

Hi David,

In 4.0.2 you need to have a container for the add event options to appear. I'm guessing you aren't displaying one, and therefore it only appears when you a page editor logs on. You can swap the page into view mode by using the radio buttons at top left of the page to see what a normal user would see.

Hi Roger,

I am also facing the same problem.  The Add event button is not visible to me as Admin.

I checked the checkbox that says "Display Container ?" and  also selected dropdown option from "Module Container" but still the "Add Event" button is not visible to me as an Admin .

Can you please help me with this ?
