Where do i add the public url for my site?

when a new user gets an email it contains the intranet address & not the correct public address.

when i user recived an email notification on a forum link the link is also incorrect

Which DNN version are you running?

you might need to put the external address in first place:

  • backup your database
  • login using external address as superuser ("host")
  • go to portals in host menu
  • select your portal, scroll down settings page
  • remove internal portal alias
  • readd internal alias if needed.

I cant remove internal alias is it was the first 1 created.

could I modify in sql?

ive just chnaed it in sql & restarted the application then logged a new post but the problem still exists.
