Hi,

I need to program a custom application for a client (he has products with multiple attributes)

Now.... If I were to knock up a quick asp.net page, amin form and database I could probably have this done in a day.

I would like to include the application from within DNN though so I can utilise the rest of the fantastic application opportunities.

I can work out how to get the data out of the database using a free datagrid tool but how would I go about designing a form to get data into the database??

Thanks in advance.

May as well advertise my first ever DNN Site:

same way as you would with any asp.net application... can you be a little bit more specific?

Greyhound-
You might take a look at the User Defined Table module included with DNN.  There are also a number of good thrid-party "forms" modules that take care of the data access layer for you so you can quickly put together robust forms with only minor coding.  I use XMOD quite a bit for DNN-based forms. Dynamic forms and H2O are two other well-regarded options with excellent support from the developers.  Many third-party "forms" modules also include built-in reporting features (and sometimes data export.features as well).
