Sebastian, I was just trying to defend the community at large for not reporting 100% of the problems. No need to defend Alex - I appreciate everything DNN and all the hard working DNN members do every day.

Don't even get Alex started on Gemini... of anyone in the community, he's largely borne the sisyphean brunt of its aggravations.  This is something that many, in good faith, are striving to improve.  In the meantime, we work with what we have :)

Let's just say for years I have not been Gemini's biggest fan in terms of the current version we are using ;). In private forums my wordings might have been phrased a tinsey winsey bit stronger than that but I'll try my best to look "professional" right now .

Hi,

I hate DNN 5 with a passion. What sort of idiot put it up on the main web site for general release?

It's 8:40pm at night and I want to be at home with the kids, not messing around with buggy software.

I've got angry frustrated users and I'd rather be at home watching tv.

STAY AWAY FROM DNN 5 IT IS A DISASTER

What sort of so called IT person in their right mind, would be upgrading to a major version of a product without going through a development/test environment and possibly without making a full backup.
