Hi,

I have the latest forum module installed on a single instance of DNN.

in the forum module when a email notification is sent that a post has been updated on my site, the link to the post is

https://internalsitename/Forums/tabid/62/forumid/2/threadid/2/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Origonally this site ad its first alias as the internal 1 then the web alias was second.

In the database Ive reversed these as you cant modify the origonal alias but problem still exists.

Thanks in advance for assistance

this might be a problem how the Forums module is retrieving the portal alias to use. Did you check out the Forums issue tracker at support.dotnetnuke.com, whether this issue has already been logged, else log it into the public issue tracker (2nd from top). thank you.

When you are posting to the site are you accessing it via the internalsitename? If so, I'm pretty sure this will be what is used to put in the email. I think it uses the url the site is accessed through.
