Needed a little help on this one.

I am building a simple module. On the view.ascx page i am using a repeater control which has a table inside it. I want to use a background image for the td.

<td align="left" valign="top" style="background-image:url(image/test.jpg);">  this is the asp.net code i wrote. The image shows up in the design view in vs2005, but when i run the website, no image shows up

also tried adding a runat="server" to the <td>, did not help

What am i doing wrong??

When that control is rendered in HTML, the path is going to be different each time.  Your relative path to the image to use isn't going to work.  I would suggest putting that style into a stylesheet (either a module.css file in your module's folder, or your portal stylesheet on the Site Settings page).  When it is in the stylesheet, the path will be relative to the stylesheet, so you won't have to worry about changing URLs.

Hope that helps,
