Hi experts,

When I add the FAQ module on my portal, I get a error saying that access to the database is denied.

DefaultDataProvider: DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider
ExceptionGUID: 49f4e45a-5126-4a31-9eee-32341686f3bb
InnerException: Unhandled Error:
FileName:
FileLineNumber: 0
FileColumnNumber: 0
Method: System.Data.ProviderBase.DbConnectionPool.GetConnection
StackTrace:
Message: System.Exception: Unhandled Error: ---> System.Web.HttpUnhandledException: Exception of type 'System.Web.HttpUnhandledException' was thrown. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) at System.Data.ProviderBase.DbConnectionPool.GetConnection(DbConnection owningObject)
...

I have DNN 4.8.2 with SQL Express 2005 installed.

If anybody could give me some help on this I would really appreciate it :-)

Thanks in advance.
Eva

the faq module probably still uses the legacy connectionstring. Please make sure that you set this in web.config
