Hi,

I have Installed DotnetNuke through starter kit, after following the installation procedures i can able to create sample site through VS2005 with VB.net language dotnetnuke template, but i am not able to see dotnetnuke template if i select C# language, what may be the problem?

I want to develop a site in C#.

It would be appriciated for earlier reply.

DotNetNuke doesn't offer a C# website template, just VB.NET. There are C# templates for module development, but for a site you are limited to VB.NET. At least, even if you're not a "fan" of VB, you can still develop modules in C# and use them with DNN.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your reply.

How to create modules through C# ? Is there any built in templates are available for visual studio 2005 to develope custom modules? If there from where i can download?

Please letme know,  i am new to dotnetnuke.

Regards,

Sreeram

I haven't actually used any of the templates. I just copied an existing module downloaded from here and started modifying the source. But if you google "dnn module templates" you should find quite a few hits and take it from there. Good luck.
