 Greetings,

Can someone point me in the right direction of give me an example of how to filter a list in the forms and List module?  I tried using a WHERE clause but wasn't successful.  I'm trying to filter my results based on a column (Active) being True.  I selected the True/False datatype for this column.  Is this a numeric boolean?  ie. WHERE Active = 1?  Any help is much appreciated.

Filter expression is like a WHERE statement without WHERE, however, for boolean columns, the value is the image, therefore you might either apend _UDT_Original to get "true" or "false or append _UDT_Value, which returns 0 or 1, see UDT 3.5.1 manual, p.16 f

Thanks again Sebastian.

What I needed was the "...is like a WHERE statement without WHERE..."  I was trying to add the WHERE clause.  To be honest the rest of your post sounded Greek .  So moving forward when you mention editing apend_UDT_Original; are you referencing tables?  Or XSL pages?  I'm really new to this.

if your boolean variable is called myvar, you need to compare:
   myVar_UDT_Original = 'true'    or
   myVar_UDT_Value = 1

:)
