That is correct. By "page" I meant a unique tabid.

The thought of what this would do to the page management tools did occur to me and was a concern. It would render the Page list pretty useless.

Plus I have a much bigger problem in that I can't really create a "master" template that would allow me to manage the modules on these pages as a group.

I am thinking that the Help module might be a better option, with some modifications.

The other option is to group sets of pages that are common into portals.  This may mean multiple portals but would still mean a possible headache in maintaining that many individual pages.  One other thing that you could do if you are looking to use DNN as a portal entrance is something similar to what I had to do on a new SharePoint install a few months ago. 

We used SharePoint to manage the front end and basic navigation, then created subsites, that were really not a part of the SharePoint install but were accessible through the front end that we did in SharePoint.
