Jan, how old is you code? I found one example where someone was using a ListItemType in their 03 code and it wouldn't work when they tried to updated in VS2005. I'm just wondering if possibly it was changed for the GridView object though I didn't investigate any further.

I did however get the problem solved. I moved the code for creating the NavigateURL to the RowCreated event.

The origonal code is old. but I converted Datagrid to Gridwiew and it is running in Net 3.5 and have worked in all enviorments since Net 1.x

I'm just testing the app with LinqDataSource and then I saw your post I trtyed to help :)

I have rather complicated code on  RowDataBound , setting different colors and calculations etc and it works smoth.
