Hi,

finally got DNN to install completely and create a default portal. now i get the following error msg, basically everytime/any page:

Value cannot be null. Parameter name: format

the pages display no problem, i noticed that all/99% of the comboboxes displays "<>", and others don't contain any values for some reason. Obviously the error is probably being caused by missing files or the DB being incorrect. i've tried this with SQL2005/W3K and SQLExpress/W2K with the same error occuring on both systems.

with SQL2005, i had to create a blank DB and attach it, and created a user for it.

also if i 'change' the pwd for the admin account it updates the DB with no problems, so i'm assuming i have the correct permissions on the files/folders

using:

VSpro 2005, DNN source "published" to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dotnetnuke

SQL 2005 Server, sqlExpress

Windows 2003 Server

Any help greatly appreciated,

Johnny
