I am working on an assignment for importing existing full blown pages of a site into DNN. For this, I have already parsed out the pages' content storing them into a Xml file. Now I have prepared the a script that performs the following tasks to import each page. Have I missed out on any step??

  1. Create a new Tab.
  2. Assign View / Edit permission on new tab to Admins
  3. Assign View Permission on new tab to 'All Users'
  4. Add a new Html Module
  5. Assign View / Edit permission on new module to Admins
  6. Associate the Module / tab in TabModules table
  7. Add the content to the module in HtmlText table.

I have closely stepped through DNN source to arrive at the above sequence. But because of the complexity of code involved in the process, it might be possible that I missed out a step.

If I have readdy did, can someone point it out??
