what is "parse skin pakage" for ?

after almost finished my skin I clicked for mistake onto "parse skin pakage" and now my web site is all mixed up and i cant go back to my old skin.

So what is "parse skin pakage" for ?  and why my skin is mixed up?

When you upload the skinzip to your site it automatically gets parsed.

If you parse an existing skin pack on your site, Theoretically nothing should happen different.

You could delete it from your site n upload a fresh zip

Parsing is the conversion from HTML skin to ASCX skin. If yiou cahnged your ascx skin and you parse the HTML skin it will overwrite the ascx sikin (generate a new one) based on the "old" HTML skin.

If you chnage the ASCX skin it's best to delete the HTML skin so this cannot happen.
