Hi,

I am using silverlight 3 and have created a DNN module which uses silverlight. It works perfectly thanks to Michael Washingtons tutorial.

If I amend the code behind in the .xaml.cs file and then build the silverlight project, the clientBin folder in the DNN site has the updated .xap file. I then copy this into the desktopmodules\module folder overwriting the existing .xap file but my changes do not get seen.

Also, the debugging is a bit hit and miss probably due to the same problem.

Do I need to also copy the silverlight projects .dll and .pdb files into the DNN bin folder or into the desktop modules folder for debugging to work?

Also Silverlight 3 seems to be running perfectly on the local development web server instead of IIS.

Regards

Hi Jan,

I have developed it with DNN because I want modules that are much more like winforms apps than web but DNN has all the other facilities such as users, groups etc..

I understand that but why together with. You have to communicate to the database trough webservice. Add the webbservice with DNN but do the Silverligt outside.
