I want to add more font types to choose from when writing text in modules. Currently, you can only choose from, Tohoma, Arial, Comic Sans, Courier New, Times New Roman, and Verdana. I'm wanting to add a few more to choose from. Please let me know how I can do that.

FCKEditor stores the available fonts in its configuration file, by default /providers/htmleditorproviders/FCK/custom/fckconfig.js

Please note, that you should use web fonts only (those are currently listed), because fonts need to be installed on the client machine of the user viewing your site and those are the only once, guaranteed to be present on all browsers and operating systems.

Instead of changing the source (which probably gets overwritten by the next upgrade), you could also use the FCKEditor's user interface to change the settings for the module or the entire portal.

  • First, use "Edit Text" to bring up the editor for any one of your Text/HTML modules.
  • Below the editor, click on "Show custom editor options"
  • Select Portal for Settings Type (unless you want to test it just for your module)
  • Expand the "Other editor options" section
  • In the Font Names field enter the desired semi-colon separated fonts.
  • Click Apply and close the window, which returns you to the editor
  • Click "Refresh Editor" below the editor window

Of course, as Sebastian said, only use web fonts.

In text module you write a text. Chose fonts and size for your text.
Continue: you change tab html. There, you can see code html:

Now, change fonts name at font-family: 'your fonts name'
