I have an ongoing issue with processes in DNN where the Portal attempts to clear down cache when creating child portals - see this thread

So is there a planned date for the release of v4.9.3?

I didn't think there were going to be anymore versions of V4?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Our production site has over 200 child portals and many of these portals have dozens of pages (some with over 700!) and so as you can imagine we hit these timeout issues every time we try and create a child portal.

I appreciate that this fix has been scheduled to be released with v4.9.3, but can someone let me know the fix was so that I could apply it ASAP. I really can't wait "a few weeks" as this is a major, major production issue for us.

We also hit similar problems when installing a module. Do you know if your patch could also be applied to this process?

Sorry if I am sounding a bit thick, but why is this the perfect use case for purchasing DNN Pro?

What about the fix referred to in the Gemini call about the Child Portal caching issue - is it just a case of commenting out the clearhostcache command?
