Hi Guys,

we need to chose a web hosting to develop applications in dotnetnuke 4.9.

We need to setup new custom modules, add tables to the database, use
ajax and give the possibility to users to upload files of 50Mb or more.

Any suggestions?

Thanks...

Hi, Hello-
There are tons of perfectly good hosting providers.  This question is asked a lot and you can find plenty of suggestions by searching these forums -- here's one thread:  http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/178228/scope/posts/Default.aspx

As for your other points, any DNN hosting provider should allow these things.  AJAX is built into the most recent versions of DNN.  Uploading files of 50MB or more will depend on you updating your WEB.CONFIG settings to allow large filesizes and longer timeout periods.

TIPS:  Better hosts will allow you to connect directly to your database with your own SQL management tool(s).  Better hosts will also not lock you into a certain version of DNN if you chose to use the host's auto-installer to install DNN.

Good luck-
