Can someone tell me if there is some sort of internal code or somehting that needs to be changed when one moves servers.

The module used to function just fine.

Moved Servers.  Now the whole site is basically working perfectly (no major complaints)

When one submits a message via the contact modukle its shows "message was sent" but nothing ever shows up to my email address.  Any ideas on what might need to happen?

Moved your message, because according to your description, your "Contact us" module is using either feedback module or a 3rd party form. However, please check the SMTP server settings in host settings and make sure, the mail server accepts mails for relaying.
