Hello All,

Im not sure whether this thread is in the correct forum but here goes ......

I've recently installed DotNetNuke Community Edition 5.0.1 and have been looking to install a skin and a module to my installation.  A couple of things I have noticed:

1) Installing a Module - Logging in as Host and Navigatinig to Module Definitions I can see a list of modules on the screen, but just underneath the list - where I assume the module options such as Upload Module should appear - there is nothing there to click on?  All I get is the list of Modules.

2) Installing a Skin - Logging in as Host and Navigating to Skins again I can see a list of Skins installed but can not see the Skin options such as install new module ... containers etc ....  One thing I have noticed is that once I've performed a fresh installation of DotNetNuke the Skin links do appear, but if I upload a new skin and then delete it then the options disappear from the Skins screen - the only way I can upload a skin then is via the Host Settings screen.

Also I can not find the option which would allow Admins to uplaod skins - I've read this option is locaed in Host Settings > Advanced Settings > Other Settings - but the option isn't there.  I have tried to reinstall DotNetNuke several times - but I seem to experience the same behaviour all the time......

Any Ideas????

Cheers Guys .....

For 5.x, you need to use the extensions manager under the host menu.  Admin users are no longer allowed to install skins.
