I have had a couple of people mention this nuance on our site and so I've spent a good part of the morning trying to figure this out.  At the top of both our LeftPane and ContentPane we are getting an extra space inserted.  I've gone through our skin and container files as well as used the IE Developer Toolbar and Firebug.

What I can see with the tools at hand is that there is a line being added for an extra break tag at the top of every module.  I would assume this is something DNN is adding since it is no where in my skin.  Any idea where I can find this culprit?  We would like to minimize the whitespace between our breadcrumb/search bar and the content.

Just took a quick peek at your site.  The "unwanted offset" is happening at the top of ALL of your containers.  Therefore this appears to be intentional (to insure vertical whitespace between containers).

Figure out what is forcing the space at the top of your container's bounding table (above TBODY but within TABLE tags) and swap that to the bottom of the table to keep the desired whitespace between containers but shift it to the bottom allowing the top of the uppermost containers to render adjacent to the breadcrumb area.

I'll try to take a closer look a bit later if I get some time and you've not figured it out, yet-

I started thinking about it after you posted and went back and looked at the container skin again.  The skin file itself didn't have any TBODY tags which were being added by DNN.  I manually added these in, and changed a couple of the cellpads and voilà, all is better.

Thank you for the reply your input helped point me in the right direction.
