We have announcement module that shows date, title and short description. Title is also used as a link to a full article (which is on another page). RSS (Syndication) for Announcements module works properly, but i wonder if i can set link in RSS to point to full article and not to the tab of the announcement module.

So instead of all links in RSS pointing to www.my-page/home.aspx, i want them to point to www.my-page/default.apsx?tabid=100, www.my-page/default.apsx?tabid=101, etc.

It seems to me this could be a common problem, any help appreciated!

right now that is not possible, since announcements is using the core rss feature which does not support this

Do you know of any other module (free or not) that has such functionality?

there are a couple commercial article modules out there. Ventrian News Articles is quite popular (www.ventrian.com), and there is also Engage Publish, which has a lot of features as well (www.engagemodules.com)

Thanks. In the end we modified the file Library\Components\SyndicationHandlers\RssHandler.vb to get the TabId from dbo.Announcements (join on ModuleId with dbo.SearchItem).
