Hi All,

I am developing a module in c#. It works fine on my dev environment. I then created a module package without the source code i.e created a module package, deleted .cs files, published the site and copied the dlls to the zip file and made cahnges to .dnn file to point to appropriate dlls.

After deploying the module on production it throws the error "could not load type". I have been stuck here for a lot of time. Searched a lot and also went through most of forums on dotnetnuke.com but couldnt resolve the problem. It works fine on dev but dont know what am i missing while deploying.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Yes, the dll files are there in the bin folder. Are there any other reasons of this error? Am i missing something? I have checked all the namespaces, as far as i could see in the code unless and until dotnetnuke does somethign behind the scenes to rename the namespace.
