 Hi all,

First, I'm fairly new to both HTML and ASP.NET programming (I've been a PICK and Perl programmer for years) so if this is a "beginner" question, I apologize.

We're currently working on our first DotNetNuke site and we're developing on a local box and then moving the proposed content to a test site for users to beta.  We can't figure out a way to specify a link (which points to a page on the site) that will move correctly to the test site.  No matter what we try, the links point to an absolute path.   We've tried both the HTML/Text and Links modules.

I've read some posts that suggest that the Links module isn't able to do relative links and, by extension, I'm guessing that the HTML/Text module can't either.  Is there any other way to do this...possibly a third party module?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kevin,

please be aware, that links inside the rich text editor are domain relative, not portal relative. therefore make sure, development/staging and production site will be on same level, i.e. either both are in virtual directories, child portal or - preferable - in domain root (parent portal in domain - www.domain.com - or subdomain - sub.domain.com)
