This is by design of ASP.net. Unloaded sites need to be compiled first and this takes longer the more modules and providers are installed.

Uninstall an code you don't need and configure recycling of the App Pool. I prefer to have it unloaded once per day at 3 AM and due to resource limits reached only.

Several others have discussed technical aspects of the site. My review is from a different perspective. I hope it helps.

I like some aspects of the site, but it looks like your client is trying to be all things to all people. Trying to SEO a site for Real Estate, Tax Services and IT Project Management will be difficult. When I first look at the home page I am a little confused about what it is your client is really offering. So I started to read the text, which most users probably won't do. I did notice quite a few grammatical and spelling errors throughout multiple pages of the site. Here is one on the home page.

LOOKING FOR A QUAITY VENDOR? (quality is spelled incorrectly)

This is not meant as a hit on your implementation, but as constructive criticism. I know you are working with a client who probably has ideas of their own. And you have to work within that environment.

Here are a few questions that come to mind.

Is your customer trying to build a community for real estate that stretches beyond the ATL? I think it is one thing to offer properties for sell and yet another thing to build a community. What will draw people to get engaged on the site?

When I first look at the home page, I like the second layer of graphics with the roll over effect. But I don't make an immediate connection between Buying Real Estate, Community, Newsletters, etc. And when I click the Newsletter page, I get redirected to a DNN registration page. I kind of understand that you might want me to register on the site to get a newsletter. But I do this for a living. Most visitors might not understand. So you need to tell the visitor why they are on a registration page. And you might consider setting up an AutoResponder account so that you can just collect a name and email and run the newsletters through the autoresponder.

Are the Articles, Blogs and Newsletters mainly intended to create a larger site for SEO purposes or to entice people to come back on a regular basis?

On the Free Quote and Contact Us page you are using a particular container that is either not rendering properly or is just not good for your content. The title

Finding a Quality Company is Quick, Simple and Free!

is fading out as the container has a gradient and the text is white.

Well, gotta run for now. Hope this gives you some ideas on making the site the very best it can be.

BTW, I am just south of you down in Macon, GA. I come up to the ATL quite a bit. Maybe we could get together sometime. Is there a DNN user group in Atlanta?
