I am setting up an internal user only employee intranet using DNN 5.0.1 and the AD provider v1.05 and want to modify the way the Manage Profile page works when a user clicks on their name to 'edit their account profile'.  Since I am using the AD module, I want the system to send all NON-admin users directly to the "Manage Profile" area/link.  This means I also want to totally hide/prevent them from accessing the "Manage User Credentials" and "Manage Password" links.  I also want to prevent a user from "unregistering" themselves.  Those should be totally admin duties since I want all AD users (that is all employees) to have an intranet login/profile.

On a related note, why would anyone using the AD provider even want these areas enabled if the AD sync is one way and the minute someone changes the password/credentials they would be changed back?

Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on how to achieve this?

I did some more searching and found two older posts asking similar questions (removing the unregister button - see here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/108/threadid/202675/scope/posts/threadpage/1/Default.aspx and removing the Editable fields on Manage User Credentials here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/111/postid/254612/scope/posts/Default.aspx).  I was able to mod the code to fix these two annoyances, but it's still not perfect and will have to be re-done when I upgrade.  So doesn't anyone else have this delimma?
