It may already do this, but is there a way to require DNN only fields (ie custom fields that are not in AD) be completed by an AD user on next login?  For example, I've deployed an internal employee intranet and some users have already logged in, but I want to make a new text/email field for home email address and the next time a user logs in I want it to force them to fill that in if the field is blank.  Is this possible?

It should on manual logins but I don't think it will on automatic logins (I'd have to double check).

Yep, for manual logins at least all you need to do is to make that field a "required" field, and then "require a valid profile" upon login.  All of those options are in the Admin->User Accounts sub-menus.

Perfect, I'll give that a try.  Thanks!

On autologins, only the base AD info (name, address, phone, etc.) is populated to the users profile.  Many of the fields I have defined in the user's profile are required but autologin lets them in regardless.  Is there a way to 'force' them into a profile update if the profile is not truly 'valid'?

Also, there was some talk previously about a later version of the AD module allowing us to specify custom fields for retrieval from AD; i.e. ManagerName, ManagerPhone, etc.

I need one or the other to get the user profiles populated properly for all of the dependent forms and tasks I have defined (preferably custom AD fields)...

Any good news on either question?
